Clara Jacquemard
Franco – German, Vienna based mixed media artist. She graduated in Journalism and Communication at the University of Vienna, attended the European Film College/Denmark and the School of Documentary/Salzburg. Her artistic practice takes place at the intersections of video art, performance and theater. She addresses, within a social sciences framework, perspectives of perception and representation of non-binary bodies and investigates social constructs. Her recent work covers dynamics and questions on modern working environments, such as the music project Feministische Industriellenkapelle, the interdisciplinary collective Feldarbeiter*innen and an association for the promotion of transmedial art Studio OABYTE.
